18-Waiting For The Man.

Rating out of 10: 6.

This is the complete gig, unlike the "LIve In England '71" boot.
The sound on this is actuall very good. You can't hear the audience much until Space Oddity, in which some laugh as Bowie tries to do the lift off. And then there is a lot of applause at the end of it too.
All in all a very good early Ziggy show. Well worth a download. Bowie on song and a tight band, excellent.

Thanks a million, Mr Committee, for this blog and the posts... I, too, am a 44 yr old male originally from the UK and a lifelong Bowie fan.

Finally, a copy of Kingston Poly that is listenable (all the other copies I had were tenth-generation hissy monster copies)

However, this copy seems to have lots of electronic clicks, every few seconds, at least on the last few songs like "Get a job"

Any chance of a new rip and new post? please, please, pretty please?

thanks again for sharing, this blog rules :)

Just a quick followup.. the electronic clicking is in most of the songs.. I just did a spot-check of most songs...

Hope you can do a completely new rip, but if not, no problem.. thanks for the great posts, some nice rare items here :)

Awwww, that's terrific!
P.S. is it something wrong with Suffragette City file or it just downloaded incorrectly?

How funny - I made the cover for this several years ago and sent it out to a few people. Are you one of them? :-) bri2kay
