These are all the live gigs for 1972. can anyone confirm that the first US Tour is correct or any cancelled, and also was there 2 shows on the 24th and 28th of December.

I've tried to list all bootlegs that are known, with the exception of Santa Monica.
I don't have all these only the ones i'm posting.
I realise that this is by no means correct.

BTW, the Santa Monica Show from '72 is to be released July 8th in the U.S. on CD, Vinyl & Digital Download!
The New Orleans gig in November (which I attended) is misidentified, I think: You have the venue as "Lagola University" (it's Loyola), but I don't think it was sponsored by Loyola - in any event, he played at a place called The Warehouse.

The concert in Phoenix was scheduled for Saturday Nov 4th but the venue had a revolving stage and Bowie did not want it to move. Concert had to be rescheduled for Sunday Nov 5th. I could not make the Saturday show but made the Sunday show and it was fantastic!

Bowie did not play or appear at the Scala (King's Cross) Cinema in London on 14 July 1972. That was a Lou Reed + The Tots show (the surviving tape of the show supports this!)
The Glasgow City Hall date in Feb 72 was cancelled. I had a ticket and was queueing outside but an hour after scheduled gig-time it became apparent that nothing was happenning and most people (me included) drifted off. Bowie came out and spoke to theose remaining and explained that the City Hall management wouldn't allow him to use his full amplification.
Hi Just wanted to correct some info on your list of Bowie Tour Dates in 1972. I was playing keyboards in the Spiders up until mid july '72.
Mar 4th was the Pier Pavilion Portsmouth. It was miserable wet and very windy Saturday afternoon. A hovercraft had capsized and we all watched the rescue efforts from the windows of our dressing room on the pier.
I also do not remember doing 3 dates at Oxford Poly

I was at the Wallington Public Hall Gig. It was during the 3 day week. It was the first time i had heard a stereo PA system. Fantastic gig.
I was away for the OxPoly gig and when I got back everyone said it had been fantastic, so I went to the later Town Hall one. Mr B was not happy with the sound and after a couple of songs abandoned his programme and did a ‘pub rock’ set of Chuck Berry, Lou Reed, etc. Very good it was, too.
