Actually the place was called the Michigan Palace, but it was originally the Michigan Theater. The building is now an indoor car parking garage. "The Palace" tends to be a commonly used name for the Palace Of Auburn Hills (in that city) here in MI, a completely unrelated venue. Yes, I remember seeing Bowie on the marquee there while going to a comic convention as a kid. I was probably in 7th grade then. How great to see this surface here! Thanx.
